Small antelopes

Appearance
The Oribi is one of the smallest antelopes, 55cm tall and weight about 15kg. They are very graceful built, with silky coat, sandy or brownish, with a sharply contrasting white belly. Below the ear is a bare skinned patch appearing as a black spot (not seen on the picture). The tail is short and bushy with a black tip. Horns are straight and fairly short. The female is similar to the male but without horns.

Habits
It's almost entirely a grazer. They lives on open plains or in very thinly bushed country, always near water. The Oribi usually lives their life in couples, which is not very common among bigger antelopes.
