|Oribi, Ourebia ourebi
Masai Mara, Kenya
The Oribi is one of the smallest antelopes, 55cm tall and weight
about 15kg. They are very graceful built, with silky coat, sandy or
brownish, with a sharply contrasting white belly. Below the ear is a bare skinned
patch appearing as a black spot (not seen on the picture).
The tail is short and bushy with a black tip. Horns are straight and
fairly short. The female is similar to the male but without horns.
